The purpose of the studio project is to re-introduce ecological complexities into the neighbourhood gradients between the Mississippi River and Bayou Bienvenue in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans.
The project's strategy is to divert fresh river water into the area in a controlled way and let it flow through the neighbourhoods within a new typology of public space canal system.
